In June of 2007, Hills local residents Anil Soni and Priyanka Abayakoon reformed and re-launched the previously known Di’s Café into Rav’s Café. The local community has been integral in reshaping and upgrading the café to what it is slowly evolving into to date…with more still to be done. This has happened with many of the regular customers helping with splashing a new coat of paint, to staff and their parents getting involved to refurbish the café, and local artists allowing to exhibit their artwork and photography to liven and add colour to the café

Community

Every semester we provide an opportunity to one person from the local public schools to engage in a work experience program, allowing them to gain valuable employable skills such as customer service and basic hospitality experience. Our core staff has been with the café from its humbling beginnings. We have participated in a number of local and wider community initiatives such as: RSPCA cup cake day, raised funds for the bushfire disasters, sponsor local school fetes and fun raisers.
